If you’ve been meaning to apply, consider this your nudge. The Curiosity Scholarship supports Alaska students who ask good questions and turn ideas into action—and the application window now runs through December 31.
What it is
- Award: One $1,000 scholarship
- Who’s eligible: Alaska students enrolled in a two- to five-year program
- GPA requirement: None
What to submit (by Dec 31)
- A 2–4 minute YouTube video responding to one of two prompts
- A 500-word essay that expands your idea, with the YouTube link included
How to stand out
- Solve a real Alaska problem. Tie your idea to your campus, village, or field and show practical first steps you’d take.
- Tell a clear, human story. Clean audio and steady shots beat flashy edits.
- Follow the checklist. Hit the time and word counts, proofread, and submit all pieces together.
