Michaela Kelly Canterbury has been practicing law for more than 12 years. She focuses on insurance and personal injury cases, and has helped clients all over southcentral Alaska in court, arbitrations and mediations. Michaela manages the firm's Anchorage office.
Education
Michaela received her bachelor of arts in political science and minor in philosophy from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and her juris doctor from Gonzaga University Law School in Washington. |
Community
Michaela has worked as a volunteer moderator and teacher for the Anchorage Youth Court and the high school mock trial program. She is President of The Alaska Association of Trial Lawyers and a member of the American Association for Justice. Michaela is also a member of the Alaska and Anchorage Bar Associations and Women's Trial Attorneys, and sits on the board of the Museum of Natural History. Kelley & Canterbury is a member of the Anchorage Chamber of Commerce and the Eagle River Chamber of Commerce.
Personal
Michaela and her husband, Chris, went to the same high school in Chugiak, where she cheered for his hockey team. They now work side-by-side, have two children, and live in the Eagle River valley.
