Christopher Canterbury has been practicing law for more than 12 years. He focuses on torts and commercial litigation, and is licensed to practice in Alaska and Washington. Prior to joining Kelley & Canterbury in 2000, Chris clerked for U.S. District Court Judge James Singleton.
Education
Chris received his bachelor of arts in English from Hamilton College in central New York, and his juris doctor from Columbia University School of Law in New York City. |
Community
Chris is a past board member for FOCUS, Inc, serving children with special needs in the Chugiak/Eagle River community. He also volunteered for both the Anchorage and Mat-Su Youth Court programs. He is a member of the Valley Bar Association, Alaska Bar Association, Alaska Association of Trial Lawyers and American Bar Association. Kelley & Canterbury is a member of the Anchorage Chamber of Commerce and the Eagle River Chamber of Commerce. In addition, Chris volunteers his time on the board of the Mustang Hockey Association and coaching baseball for Knik Little League.
Personal
Aside from his job, Chris enjoys playing hockey, working on the family's log cabin home in Eagle River, and spending time with his wife, Michaela, and their kids. |
